Throughout my thirty years in law enforcement, I have learned the importance of building strong

relationships between law enforcement and the community. I am committed to ensuring that the

sheriff’s office actively fosters positive and meaningful interactions with community leaders,

faith-based organizations, and community-oriented law enforcement agencies throughout

Charleston County. I have had the privilege of working alongside different community leaders to

effectively address the needs and concerns of the community, and under my leadership, this

commitment will remain firm.
